Has Tottenham Hotspur missed Harry Kane since his departure? It’s hard to say.
On one hand, Ange Postecoglou now has a first-team squad full of players who finally look competent to win trophies at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
On the other, Harry Kane is a club legend, who is one of the most prolific players in the club’s history. How could you not miss him in that sense?
Nevertheless, he decided it was time for a new venture in the summer when he moved to Bayern Munich.

Harry Kane joined Tottenham in 2009, which meant he spent a whopping 14 years at Hotspur Way.
Over this time, Kane amassed 280 goals, 64 assists and a bucket-load of games – however, there was one elusive feat that was always left looming in North London. A trophy. Despite Kane’s ridiculous record, he never obtained silverware with his beloved club.
Now at Munich, a club notorious for winning virtually every trophy in their path, has Kane brought his ‘curse’ with him?
German media outlet Bild posted the following after Munich failed to capitalise on going top over the weekend.
‘Since Sunday, since the embarrassing home defeat against Werder Bremen (0:1) You have to ask the question seriously: Is the curse of Harry Kane now also taking over FC Bayern?’
‘It’s hard to believe: the 100 million man is probably the only world-class player who has never won a title in his life. Nothing! Nothing! Nada! Niente!’
It was instead Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen who jumped on top of the table, which has led media outlets to now speculate whether Kane is the problem – which is ludicrous.
Kane has continued his rich goal-scoring form over in Germany. He has 22 goals this season, so evidently isn’t the issue.
However ‘the curse’ looms as to whether he’s just simply bad luck. Which begs the question – can Tottenham overcome it this season?
Their best chance has to be the FA Cup, but they face the toughest test of all in the next round -Manchester City.
If they do surpass the Cityen’s though… could silverware be finally on its way back to Tottenham Hotspur?
