Juventus are reportedly hoping to table an offer for Atalanta playmaker Teun Koopmeiners once they have officially sold Matias Soule to Roma, according to updates on Wednesday evening.
Reports on Wednesday suggest that there has been progress in talks between Juve and Roma for Soule, which could help clear the path for the Old Lady to sign their top target this transfer window, Koopmeiners.
The two clubs are nearing an agreement over a fee in the region of €30m. Roma’s current offer is reported to be worth €26m in cash, plus €4m in bonuses, €2m of which are said to be ‘easily-achievable’ and the other €2m slightly more complex.
Juve’s intention is to redistribute the funds from Soule’s sale into an offer for Koopmeiners. The Bianconeri’s accounts could also be boosted by the sale of teenage defender Dean Huijsen, who is valued at a minimum price of €18m plus bonuses.
If Juventus are able to get those two exits over the line, they will be much closer to being able to afford an offer in the region of €60m for Koopmeiners.
🚨⚪️⚫️ Juventus will submit their first official bid for Teun Koopmeiners as soon as Matias Soulé deal will be signed, likely to be next week. ↪️🇫🇷 Juve will also sell Dean Huijsen this week and then bid for Jean-Clair Todibo.
