An insight into the stance of Barcelona starlet Vitor Roque when it comes to a potential departure from the club in the summer has today been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards the Brazilian as having already made his mind up.

Recent days have seen the possibility of Roque heading out on loan floated by a number of sources in the Spanish media.

As much comes amid what has proven a difficult adaptation period for the Brazilian since his arrival at Barcelona during the January transfer window.

All told, Roque has been afforded just a pair of La Liga starts to date.

Sitting behind the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, João Félix and, at times, even Marc Guiu in the attacking pecking order in Xavi’s squad, it has in turn been suggested that the 19-year-old could benefit from a season away, to secure for himself more regular first-team football.

If Roque himself has any say in the matter, however, then this will not prove to be the case.

As per the aforementioned Sport:

‘Vitor Roque does not consider under any circumstances temporarily leaving Barcelona this summer through a loan.’

The hitman, it is claimed, is fully aware that he remains in his adaptation period in Barca’s colours, therefore seeing little benefit to an imminent change of scene.

Instead, Roque is of the opinion that a full pre-season will afford him the necessary conditions to rediscover his best form.

The Brazilian international, as well as his family, are happy in Catalunya’s capital, therefore eager to stay put through the summer and beyond.
