Arsenal have played at Wembley a massive 58 times in our history, winning more than we have lost and collecting quite a few trophies

We have won 30, drawn eight and lost 20, scoring 86 goals and conceding 60. This includes cup games, finals, Champions League matches and Charity/Community Shields.

Arsenal made a 58th appearance in August 2020 when they beat Liverpool in the Community Shield.

18 of these appearances have been FA Cup finals, 14 of which we’ve won. Arsenal’s most recent trip to Wembley in that competition was the 19/20 FA Cup final, when we faced Chelsea and won 2-1.

Our most recent was, of course, on 29 August 2020 when we beat Liverpool on penalties in the aforementioned Community Shield.

Six have been Champions League matches, with our most recent being against Fiorentina in 1999/2000, which we lost 1-0.

There are obviously a few other results we’d rather forget. The 4-2 defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League, for example. Or our 2-1 loss to Birmingham in the Carling Cup final in 2011. That mix up between Wojciech Szczesny and Laurent Koscielny will haunt us all forever.

Arsenal have won 14 of their last 15 appearances at Wembley since that Birmingham game.

We beat Hull 3-2 in order to secure our first trophy, the FA Cup, for nine years. We then beat Premier League winners, Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield. The following season, we won the FA Cup again, thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 and then beat Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea in the Community Shield.

Then, of course, there was 2020.

The one game Arsenal lost was the League Cup final against Manchester City in 2018, but only Spurs fans and Jose Mourinho count that as a real trophy.

Tony Adams and Nigel Winterburn are the Arsenal players who’ve made the most Wembley appearances (24).

Meanwhile, Reg Lewis, a forward who played for Arsenal between 1935 and 1953, has scored the most goals with six. Had it not been for the outbreak of war, he would have no doubt scored far more.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, meanwhile, has four goals in just two appearances under the famous arches for Arsenal.
