Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has tipped one Chelsea player to leave the club in the next couple of years.
Things have not been great once again for Chelsea this season although they are currently sat in the top four and on course for a Champions League finish. So you can say that as of now, there are improvements from last season.
However, some of the performances and results have still been really poor and questionable at best, and the inconsistencies have crept in after Christmas time.
This will concern Chelsea fans and I don’t think many of them are too confident of a strong finish to the season right now.
Chelsea are aiming for a Champions League finish because they need to be in that competition for many reasons, mostly financially. Former midfielder John Obi Mikel has recently said that it would be a disaster if Chelsea did not make the Champions League for next season.
And you do wonder whether some Chelsea players might get restless too if they do not make it this season.

The former player turned pundit has been speaking about Palmer this week in some quotes picked up on X.
He says:
“Cole Palmer is probably wondering, ‘Hold on, what have I really signed for?’ I could see him leaving that football club in the next couple of years.”
I think these concerns will be shared by many. But transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has recently assured that Chelsea are fully relaxed about the Cole Palmer situation right now.
Chelsea could of course still get Champions League football and shut all this noise up, and it is very much still in their own hands to do so. So all of this could become a distant memory.
