The Arsenal boss was then asked whether Martin Ødegaard is struggling without Bukayo Saka in the team ...

"It can be an element of that. He's come from an injury and maybe in the first week or two you have that extra energy and then, he was ill.

"It is inevitable to think, when you have that chemistry."

Arteta was also asked about how important the FA Cup is to Arsenal this season ...

"A massive part of our history. We won it 14 times.

"A beautiful game to play against a massive club. A special occasion with the amount of supporters they're going to bring."

Mikel Arteta is also being quizzed by the press and has been asked about his plans for the January transfer window ...

And on Rashford's future ...

"We will see, guys. We need to focus on the next game."

Amorim addresses the club's homegrown players with rumours that they could accept offers for the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo this month ...

"The first thing, I think, I don't remember saying that I clearly want new players. Players can come here with a different of idea how to play. I don't remember saying so clearly that I want new players. We need to improve recruitment. We have to improve academy to bring young kids [though] that feel the club in the right way. Our idea is always to keep the best players and the players that we build for this club. But we know the position that this club is in at this moment. I really like our players, especially from our academy."

Amorim has spoken about the FA Cup's long history ...

"I see what everybody sees. It's a really old competition with a lot of history. I remember seeing some of the finals, including when we won the Treble. At this stage, we know we have a really strong match. We want to win and to continue with our performance."

The embargo has lifted on Ruben Amorim's quotes this afternoon, so we'll be bringing you those any moment ...

Chelsea face Morecambe this weekend and Maresca has clearly done his homework ...

"Now I know many things because I have watched many games to be ready for tomorrow."

Maresca was also asked about rumours that Marc Guehi could return to the club ...

"The only thing I can say is Marc Guehi is a Palace player. I like Marc for sure but he is not our player. I also like the central defenders we have here. It is a normal situation when you have injuries, but at the same time there is nothing there."

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has been speaking about Wesley Fofana's latest injury ...

"We speak the same language, we communicate with each other in English and French. The 12-16 weeks the club mentioned is the situation. Wes is thinking he can recover sooner than that. We are all happy if he could but we will see. There is no problem. I told you what the medical staff said to me."

Pep's clearly in good spirits ahead of this weekend's game ...

And when asked about playing local rivals Salford, Pep said: "I’ve lived in Salford for the past eight years - we’re playing against my neighbourhood, my ‘hometown’. Huge respect for them!”

The City boss was also asked about rumours that his side could buy Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush ...

“Don’t ask me about the transfer window… I’m not going to talk! I’m not going to answer one question…”

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is in place and speaking ahead of their game with Salford. Here's what he had to say on Ruben Dias and his injury ...

" [Ruben Dias] Feels better but is not ready. I don’t know when [he will be]... [Oscar Bobb] is training with the team, partially. That’s good news for us... It was a fractured bone. Once it’s fixed he’s fine but the good news is he's back."

With Dyche having been sacked, attention now turns to who will replace the English coach. Could it really be David Moyes?

Everton may have sacked Sean Dyche on the eve of their clash with Peterborough but that didn't stop them beating the League One outfit on Thursday night. Here are the highlights ...

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has been speaking ahead of their game against Tamworth on Sunday and started by speaking about Rodrigo Bentancur and his health after collapsing against Liverpool ..

Newcastle Eddie Howe also spoke earlier today and revealed that Alexander Isak would be rested for their game against Bromley ...

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has already spoken to the press earlier this morning, looking forward to his club's clash with Accrington Stanley - a game etched into the collective memory of all English football fans ....

We'll have quotes and reaction from Ruben Amorim, Pep Guardiola and many more over the next couple of hours so stay tuned.
