A red letter day for Sean Longstaff and Matty Longstaff.
The two brother now separated by an ocean but United by goals and victories.
Sean Longstaff putting in his usual tireless unselfish running BUT on this occasion adding a goal on top.
One of many excellent flowing moves on Saturday creating the chance.
Eventually Jacob Murphy the one to set up Sean Longstaff for a very cool finish into the bottom corner that effectively took the game away from Burnley, making it 2-0 on 35 minutes.
It was Sean’s seventh goal of the season in all competitions, his fifth in the Premier League. The win taking United into sixth, two points above Man U.
Meanwhile, after six starts and two sub appearances for Toronto FC, Matty Longstaff made his ninth MLS appearance of the season.
Coming off the bench, the former NUFC midfielder grabbing his first ever MLS goal.
That strike helping Toronto to a 3-1 win over Dallas.
This means they are now third and five points off Inter Miami at the top of the Eastern Conference, although Toronto FC have a game in hand.
