Weymouth Wales and Moca FC meet in CFU Club Shield Final

MIAMI – The 2025 CFU Club Shield concludes on Sunday with the Final and Third Place Match, highlighted by Moca FC meeting Weymouth Wales in the championship match.
Academy Eagles and Club Franciscain will meet in the Third Place Match. Both of Sunday’s encounters will be played at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.
Third Place Match - Academy Eagles vs. Club Franciscain
Academy Eagles of Turks and Caicos and Martinique side Club Franciscain will meet for third-place honors.
Academy Eagles took first place in Group A with a 5-nil win over Rovers. Junior Paul delivered a hat-trick to help the side to the final four. The club was held scoreless in the semifinals and fell on penalties to Moca FC.
Club Franciscain won Group D with wins over Doc's United and Scholars International. Johnny Marajo struck for Franciscain in its semifinal loss and co-leads the team with two goals.
Final – Moca FC vs. Weymouth Wales
Moca FC of the Dominican Republic and Weymouth Wales of Barbados will square off in the championship match to decide the winners of the 2025 edition.
Pascual Ramírez made a save in the penalty shootout in the semifinals to help Moca FC reach the Final.
Weymouth Wales is coming off a 2-1 comeback victory in the semifinals thanks to goals from Jaheim Neblett and Shaquille Stewart.
The two finalists have already booked themselves into the 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup by winning the Semifinals.
The result of the Final will decide which group each side is placed into, as decided by the Caribbean Cup official draw in June.
The CFU Club Shield Champion will be slotted into Group A with Mount Pleasant FA, SV Robinhood, O&M FC, and Central FC.
The CFU Club Shield Runner-Up will advance to Group B with Cibao FC, Cavalier FC, Defence Force FC, and Juventus de Cayes.
