West Ham defender Arthur Masuaku is still being considered by Napoli as the Serie A strugglers look to bring in a left-sided player in January.

Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has been looking at various options, and Italian broadcaster Sportitalia reports that Masuaku is still on the former Italy international’s list.

Masuaku started on the bench for the Hammers’ 1-1 home draw with Everton on Saturday, but he did replace Pablo Fornals on the hour mark.

The 26-year-old signed a contract extension last July that runs until 2024.

However, with new manager David Moyes now at the helm, Masuaku’s long-term future may no longer be at the London Stadium.

The DR Congo international joined the Hammers from Greek side Olympiacos in 2016 and has almost 100 appearances under his belt in the English capital.

Moyes’ men are very much still involved in the battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Napoli are enduring their most disappointing season for years and lie in 11th place following a 2-0 defeat to Fiorentina on Saturday.
