Graham Potter without a number of key players for trip to Villa Park
West Ham will be without a key defender for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
Graham Potter takes his Hammers side back to Villa Park for the second time this month, having lost in the FA Cup third-round in his first game in charge.
Potter is looking for a reaction following last week’s 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace but his task has been made all the more difficult after a red card shown to Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The Greek international was sent off for two bookable offences last week and will duly be forced to sit the trip to Villa Park out. Fellow central defender Jean-Clair Todibo remains a big doubt too.
Vladimir Coufal is an option to replace Mavropanos and Potter’s attacking options remain equally as light.
Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug are all expected to miss out, while Crysencio Summerville will need to be assessed.
