With Adrián’s contract expiring this summer, West Ham are looking for a solid backup for Lukasz Fabianski and may not have to leave London to find one.
According to the London Evening Standard, the Hammers will attempt to land Chelsea’s Willy Caballero this summer should the 37-year-old not be offered a new contract.
Caballero and West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini have history together, having spent two seasons together at Manchester City.
At the moment, West Ham do not have a reliable number two next season as 20-year-old academy goalkeeper Nathan Trott would likely go on loan next season to collect first-team experience.
In nine appearances this past season, Caballero earned five clean sheets, including the two Premier League matches he started.
