West Ham United centre-back Nayef Aguerd is still attracting interest from Saudi Arabia ahead of the summer transfer window, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The 28-year-old defender is no longer a certainty in the starting eleven and has made just two starts in the Premier League since March.

Al-Ittihad were interested in the centre-back in the winter transfer window and they made an enquiry into the possibility of signing him.

However, West Ham were not interested in selling Aguerd and decided against entertaining any enquiries.

It has been claimed that there is still Saudi interest in the centre-back ahead of the summer window.

Al-Qadsiah, who are about to get promoted to the Saudi Pro League, have an interest in signing Aguerd.

They have been keeping tabs on him and are considering making an offer to land the defender.

Aguerd still has more than three years left on his contract and West Ham are likely to demand a big fee before agreeing to sell him.
