West Ham United’s teenage pair Princess Ademiluyi and Soraya Walsh have signed their first professional deals with the club.

The Hammers announced the news via posts on their official club website.

West Ham United confirmed Ademiluyi’s new deal yesterday on what was her 18th birthday. The player is said to have committed her future to the East Londoners for the long-term. Ademiluyi has been in and around the West Ham United first team since she was 16 years of age. The forward has made 13 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Super League to date.

The Hammers announced midfielder Walsh’s new contract this morning. Walsh is yet to make a senior appearance for West Ham United since joining the club in summer 2022. The 18-year-old has been a regular for The Hammers’ Under-21s side and she also had a productive spell playing FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division football with Billericay Town last season. The player will be hoping for some first team involvement at West Ham United this term after signing her long-term professional deal.

Six players have now signed new deals with West Ham United this summer. In addition to Ademiluyi and Walsh’s professional deals, Dagný Brynjarsdóttir, Viviane Asseyi, Kirsty Smith and Jess Ziu have also extended their contracts with the club.
