West Ham were looking to secure top spot in Group B of the Conference League when they hosted Silkeborg at the London Stadium on Thursday.

After Michail Antonio was fouled in the box, Manuel Lanzini converted the resulting spot-kick as West Ham took the lead.

Alphonse Areola was forced into action twice in quick succession midway through the second half, as Silkeborg begain to gain in confidence.

Yet it was not to be for the visitors as West Ham secured the win to take top spot in the group and advance to the last 16.
