West Ham United have revived their interest in Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to The Times.

The 26-year-old is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, paving the way for West Ham to sign the former Crystal Palace right-back.

It is unclear how much United will demand for Wan-Bissaka, but he is attracting plenty of interest from clubs at home and abroad.

The Palace academy graduate is valued at £17 million on Transfermarkt, although West Ham could sign him for a lower fee as he enters the final year of his United contract.

Wan-Bissaka is a decent target to replace Ben Johnson

Ben Johnson struggled to secure regular first-team football under David Moyes last season, and his situation is unlikely to be any different under the new manager.

That realisation may have spurred his decision to turn down a new contract offer from the club. He is now set to join Ipswich Town on a four-year deal when his contract expires.
