West Ham continue to hunt for reinforcements and eye two more signings ahead of the transfer deadline.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Davis Moyes’ side has lined up moves for Chelsea defender Emerson and Club Brugge midfielder Hans Vanaken.
The club has recently submitted a £13m bid to their Premier League rivals while also proposing a £10m offer to the Belgian club.
However, the deals may not be completed as smoothly as hoped with Emerson also linked to Nottingham Forest, Atalanta, and Juventus alongside Brugge wanting to keep hold of their captain.
Having lost their opening two Premier League fixtures, both signings are expected to bring a key boost to West Ham’s injury-plagued squad if they can be completed in time.
