West Ham oversaw the end of an era to conclude 2024/25 with David Moyes leaving the club for surely the final time.

The Scotsman, who guided the club to Europa Conference League success in 2023 as well as the Europa League semi-finals the year prior, has been succeeded by former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui and the Spaniard arrives with heightened expectations.

There are factions of supporters keen to enjoy a more enterprising brand of football following years of canny pragmatism. While Moyes' reign was laden with highs, West Ham's performance last season was disappointing and there's hope Lopetegui is the man to get the Hammers competing for European places again.

The Spaniard is familiar with the Premier League, but he's got his work cut out if he's to translate his ideals across in time for the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

Here's what West Ham have got planned for pre-season.

Where are West Ham going for 2024/25 pre-season?

The Hammers announced the details of their 'Sunshine State Tour' back in May. They're one of several Premier League clubs visiting the United States ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Their plans aren't quite as extravagant as some of their domestic rivals and they'll face two middling Premier League outfits as part of the inaugural Stateside Cup.

West Ham are visiting Florida for the very first time having flown down under last summer.

It's been a pretty inconspicuous start to West Ham's summer, with the Hammers' pre-season starting in Austria as they faced Hungarian giants Ferencvaros.

Loptegui's side trailed 2-0 at the break before fighting back in the second half and eventually earning a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Danny Ings and Nayef Aguerd.

A strike from 24-year-old midfielder Andy Irving was the difference in West Ham's final domestic friendly before jetting off to the States. West Ham beat fellow east Londoners Dagenham & Redbridge 1-0 on 20 July.

They'll now play just two games out in the US as part of the Stateside Cup. West Ham first face Wolves in Jacksonville before taking on Crystal Palace in Tampa.

The Hammers then return to east London ahead of their Premier League season opener on 17 August against Aston Villa at the London Stadium. Before that, though, the Irons host Celta Vigo on 10 August as part of their final preparations ahead of the new season.

How to watch West Ham 2024/25 pre-season
