West Ham United midfielder Jarrod Bowen was delighted with his brace for their 4-0 defeat of Wolves.

Bowen felt the four goals his team stuck past an overworked Rui Patricio was just reward for a London Stadium display full of attacking intent.

"It was the perfect performance for us, and something we needed after the first two games," he explained.

"The work rate off the ball by the lads, and being so hard to beat stood out for me tonight. Keeping the clean sheet was vital and the fact we scored four goals was big for us too.

"The first two games of the season we wanted to get points and we felt we were unlucky against Arsenal. Newcastle we weren't good enough, we all knew that. We reacted against Arsenal and should have got something out of the game.

"Tonight was another reaction we needed because we didn't want to go three games without a win. The boys stuck at it, we did ever-so-well and to get the three points was massive."
