What did Brown say about how Rice is handling the transfer speculation?

Brown feels that Rice remains committed to the cause at West Ham, and will have a crucial role to play for David Moyes' men this term. He also added that he does not expect Rice to drop below his usual standards or give anything less than 100% over the coming months.

Speaking about the 26-cap international, Brown told GIVEMESPORT: “I don’t believe he’s someone who would genuinely rock the boat. You watch him play, and he is a massive part of that team. They just look like a band of brothers at the moment. They’re all playing for each other. They’re all playing with smiles on their faces. And Declan Rice is certainly not someone who’s kicking up a fuss, downing tools or trying to engineer a way out.”

Did West Ham United sign Michail Antonio on transfer deadline day?

Yes No

According to WhoScored, he has been the side's second-best player in the league so far this season, receiving an average match rating of 7.66.

He also seems to be adding more to his game in the final third. Having registered an assist in West Ham's 4-1 victory over Leicester last month, he then scored a stunning solo goal in the Europa League against Dinamo Zagreb, as the Irons cruised to a 2-0 win.

When factoring in his leadership qualities as well, it looks like Rice is developing into the complete package and is determined to get better, rather than allowing the uncertainty regarding his future to stall his progress.
