The Uefa Europa Conference League final kicks off on Wednesday as both Fiorentina and West Ham eye glory.

It’s been a nervy contest in Prague, and the match was forced to stop mid-way through the first half thanks to some unfortunate actions by travelling fans.

West Ham supporters threw empty beer cups at Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi who cracked his head open and was bleeding heavily.

Club captain Declan Rice and his team-mates walked over and asked fans to stop their behaviour while the Italian was being bandaged.

Despite the injury, Biraghi remained on the pitch and started the second half as both sides push for an opener.

It’s not a good look for the English supporters, though, as West Ham are trying to lift their first title in over 40 years.

They’ll need positive support from the fans to help them end that drought!
