West Ham United are pushing for Carlos Soler to bolster their team right before the summer transfer window closes in a few days. The latest information reveals the type of deal the Hammers are pushing for to complete the move.
Earlier this month, L’Equipe revealed that West Ham United, Brighton, and Real Sociedad are all eyeing Soler. However, it seems West Ham have taken the lead in the race, outpacing Brighton and Real Sociedad.
Foot Mercato has also reported that West Ham and PSG are in talks about a loan deal for Soler, which would include a mandatory purchase option exceeding €20 million.
The latest information comes from Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who reported on Wednesday, citing sources, that West Ham are continuing to explore a deal to sign Soler ahead of Deadline Day.
Moreover, Plettenberg reveals that initial discussions have occurred, but no agreements have been reached yet. West Ham are pushing for a loan with an obligation to buy, with the total fee expected to be around £20 million.
In the 2023-24 season, Soler made 26 appearances in all competitions for the French club, scoring once and contributing four assists.
