West Ham are in talks with some of their fans about showing their faces via Zoom at the London Stadium when football returns.
The Premier League is currently planning to resume the 2019/20 season in June behind closed doors.
However, the Hammers may have found a way to have fan presence at the stadium.
According to the Daily Express, the club are in discussions about showing fan faces on the big screens at the stadium via the video-messaging app Zoom.
Many companies have taken to using Zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic to hold meetings while quizzes have become the staple social gathering of the pandemic through the app.
The report states that several clubs have rejected the idea of cardboard cut-out fans at the stadium, like we saw at Borussia Mönchengladbach at the weekend.
You have to wonder whether all the fans will set their Zoom background to Upton Park.
