West Ham United have announced they have signed Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United.
The 22-year-old has joined the club in a move worth in excess of £25 million plus add-ons (per BBC Sport).
He has penned a five-year contract at the London Stadium, with the club having the option to extend it by another year.
Summerville was a standout performer for Leeds last season, bagging 21 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.
West Ham are also closing in on a £27m deal for Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, per the Telegraph.
The experienced forward enjoyed an excellent 2023-24 campaign with Dortmund.
He bagged 15 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances for the Black and Yellow as they finished fifth in the Bundesliga and reached the Champions League final.
Fullkrug also scored twice for Germany at the 2024 European Championship, helping them reach the quarter-finals.
However, the striker will be perceived as a gamble by the Hammers who are set to spend a huge fee on a player who will turn 32 in February.
West Ham have had a very busy summer transfer window. They sealed a £40m transfer for Max Kilman and also brought in Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham.
The Hamers are pursuing a deal for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka while they are also heavily linked with Guido Rodriguez.
