West Ham boss David Moyes knows they face a massive challenge today against Manchester City.

Moyes is well aware of the size of the task facing his side at Etihad Stadium, but they will still go there looking to extend their own good run.

It will be a tough challenge at Manchester City

He stated, "I think if you're talking about challenging Manchester City, you're talking about challenging arguably the top team in the world, or No2, No3, somewhere in that position. That's a big ask for any team and it's.a big ask for West Ham, but we've tried to take on the challenges that have been put in front of us this year. On some occasions we've done well, on other occasions not so well, so we'll try to take Manchester City on and in some way try to cause them difficulties.

"Everybody knows their quality and we're seeing it week in, week out at the moment. Pep has a full squad and he can pick who he likes. He can chop and change.

"They've got a difficult schedule because of the amount of games they've got, so I do think we have to make the most of that. We're slightly different because we don't have European games - I hope we do in the future but we don't at the moment - but we have to try to make the most of having the chance to prepare for the games, be as good as we can be and go into it with a positive mind-frame.

"For any team who goes to Manchester City, the word 'clean sheet' is the first thing to aim for because of their attacking ability and the players they've got, the interchange of positions and the amount of times they get in and around your box makes it a very difficult thing to do. If we can get a clean sheet I'd be more than thrilled with that, I can tell you."
