West Ham Boss ‘Expressed His Desire’ To Land Aston Villa Target | OneFootball

West Ham United boss Julen Lopetegui is a big admirer of Aston Villa linked midfielder Carlos Soler and has ‘expressed his desire’ to take him to the London Stadium, according to ExWHUemployee.

Soler, a Spain international, is on the books at French giants Paris Saint-Germain, but could move on this summer.

PSG are prepared to cash in on Soler for the right price and he has been linked with several sides, including Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

Now Lopetegui is keen on having Soler at his disposal at West Ham and has ‘expressed his desire’ for the deal to happen.

The Hammers could bring in a midfielder this summer and Soler is firmly on Lopetegui’s radar.

Soler was in and out of the team at the Parc des Princes last season, making 28 appearances in total, and could be tempted by the idea of a move to West Ham.

As well as being a midfielder, Soler is versatile and also able to operate as a full-back.

The Spaniard’s contract at PSG still has another three years left to run.
