Turkish media are reporting that West Brom are looking to sign Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi on loan.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Championship side are looking to secure the Kosovan’s signature on a loan deal with a €10 million buy option attached.

Hull City and Leeds United are also interested in signing Muriqi and Lazio are hoping to finalise his departure this month, as his exit would be key to unblocking the incoming transfer market.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla also confirmed West Brom’s interest in the Kosovan forward and the player has unfollowed Lazio on both Twitter and Instagram, suggesting a departure is on the horizon.

Updates are expected over the coming days, with the Biancocelesti ready to say farewell to the 27-year-old Kosovan forward, who never fully settled in Rome following his €20 million arrival from Fenerbahce in September 2020.

This season, Muriqi has made 14 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 313 minutes. In that time, he has provided only one assist, and so has failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri of his qualities.
