The Baggies earned automatic promotion from The Championship last season but are currently sat 19th in the table after picking up just seven points from their opening 12 games.

However, the club did earn a remarkable 1-1 draw away at Manchester City on Tuesday night.

The former Croatia national team manager has been at the Hawthorns since June 2019 and led the club to promotion as runners-up in his first season in charge.

Although no replacement has been confirmed yet, it is widely reported that Sam Allardyce is expected to take over on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
