Wesley stays in Rome, postpones visa process until September

Wesley is now ready to officially become a new Roma player.

After weeks of negotiations between the Giallorossi and Flamengo, the deal has reached the final stage.

Now the final formal step is for the Rio de Janeiro club to countersign the contracts, a step expected in the next few hours. Flamengo, in fact, wanted to first finalize the Emerson Royal transfer before giving the final green light to Wesley’s sale.

According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Wesley has signed a contract with Roma but will not immediately leave for Brazil to complete the visa process.
