Chelsea striker Timo Werner is battling for his future at the club.

According to the Evening Standard, manager Thomas Tuchel is seeking a new center forward in the summer.

The Blues' top target is Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

While Werner has been improving in terms of his overall game and assists since Tuchel's arrival, he is still struggling for goals.

The £45 million summer signing has two goals in his past 29 games, and was dropped by Tuche for the team's last two matches.

If the Blues can get a top forward, such as Haaland or Manchester City's departing Sergio Aguero, they may choose to move on from Werner.
