Girona FC and Cristhian Stuani have reached an agreement so that the Uruguayan striker will continue to wear the red and white shirt next season. In this way, the Club strengthens its link with one of the most emblematic players in its recent history.

Since his arrival at Montilivi in the summer of 2017, Stuani has become a fundamental part of the team, both on and off the pitch. In these seven seasons, he has made 289 official appearances and scored 140 goals between Primera, Segunda División and Copa del Rey.

Some of the highlights of his time at Girona include 21 goals in his first season in LaLiga (2017-18), his decisive performance in the 2022 promotion and his consistency as an offensive reference during the last few seasons, helping to consolidate the Club's project in the First Division.

In addition to his goalscoring contribution, Stuani has been an example of leadership, commitment and appreciation for the Club and the fans, becoming a true benchmark within the dressing room.
