This season's Champions League final will be played in Portugal, ending chances of the all-English encounter being held at Wembley.
The British Government's decision to place Turkey on its high-risk 'red list' for international travel amid the coronavirus pandemic forced UEFA to look at other options for the final.
But it was not possible for the match to be held in London after the government could not guarantee quarantine exemptions being sought for sponsors, VIPs and broadcasters, per the Evening Standard.
UEFA is now expected to announce FC Porto's 50,000-capacity Estadio do Dragao as the host venue.
It is hoped that 10,000 fans will be allowed to attend the blockbuster clash.
