Chelsea continue to be strongly linked to potential new strikers, and one of them has today spoken out on the rumours linking him with the Stamford Bridge side.

As the season comes to an end soon, all the focus will switch to yet another transfer window this summer. And as we all know, the summer window is much longer and will always be busier, because clubs do not like to let their players go mid-season.

There will be plenty of book balancing needed to be done by clubs this summer, so there will be opportunities for players sales and player buys. It should be quite a thriving market despite concerns about FFP. But clubs will be looking to sell, meaning deals will be done.

Will Juventus be tempted to sell their high profile striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer and if so, would Chelsea still be interested?

The pair have been linked time and time again in recent years, and as we approach another window with the likelihood of Chelsea looking to sign another striker, then I am sure that these links will grow and fire up once again.

Vlahovic has been speaking about the rumours of him joining Chelsea last summer, and he seems to make his immediate intentions clear.

In words picked up by Blue Footy today, Vlahovic said: “I heard about it [Chelsea rumours] and saw the newspapers, but I didn’t know anything. I was thinking mainly about myself and preparing for a good season. Two years have passed since I joined Juventus and I’m very happy here. This is my answer, I want to win something important with Juve. Then we’ll see, we’ll talk about it later.”

So he leaves the door open to a future move to Chelsea perhaps, but it looks like he will be staying put this summer at least.
