Oh what a perfect day… and I didn’t even have to listen to Lou Reed, or spend it with anyone.

I have had my fingers and toes crossed for weeks that Jurgen Klopp’s lucky Liverpool wouldn’t win the Premier League and give him the beautiful send off that the media would have milked.

Well done to Crystal Palace and your dutiful service to all righteous supporters of genuine clubs will not be quickly forgotten. A superb 1-0 victory at Anfield.

Also well done to Fulham for winning yet another London derby this season. Their 2-0 victory at the London Stadium against West Ham has given Newcastle a bit of daylight in our European quest.

The icing on the cake was seeing spoilt brat Arteta’s Arsenal blowing it against Aston Villa at the Emirates.

The title is now as good as in Pep’s and Man City’s grasp.

It would boil my urine if Liverpool or Arsenal won the league. Both of them so entitled that supporters of Newcastle can live with Man City dominating whilst Newcastle United are catching up.

Now I couldn’t give a monkeys about Celtic or Rangers.

However, I unhappily come into contact at times with one of the worst bigots I have ever known.

Well, her beloved Rangers also blew it yesterday against the mighty Ross County. Oh what a shame.

All these results were coupon busters but I don’t think there will be many people upset at not having to go back to the bookies for any winnings..
