Weird piece of history is made in the Europa League 😲

The Europa League may not be Europe’s most glamorous competition, but it has a habit of providing some brilliant little quirks, and a weird piece of history was made in the competition on Thursday night.

The four teams in Group F went into the final matchday with everything to play for, and Feyenoord’s 1-0 win over Lazio saw them top the group, while a 2-0 win for Midtjylland over Sturm Graz meant the Danish side finished second.

But Lazio and Sturm Graz can consider themselves unlucky, as it is the first time ever in a major European competition that all four teams have finished level on points.
