Weir, AFE 2022/23 Liga F best player

Caroline Weir picked up the award for the best player of the 2022/23 Liga F, presented by the Spanish Footballers' Association (AFE). The Real Madrid midfielder, who had an outstanding season and netted 19 goals in the competition, won the award in a vote among the footballers.

On receiving the award, the Scottish player said: "Thank you very much for this award. It means so much to me to be voted by other footballers. I'm sorry I can't be there tonight because of my injury. I hope you all have a great night.”
