Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota arrive

The biggest news coming out of Anfield this week is the arrival of new signings Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich and Diogo Joto from Wolves. Thiago will wear the No.6 shirt for Liverpool and Jota will wear the No.20.

Carabao Cup fixture

Liverpool booked their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup last night after defeating Lincoln City 7-2 at the Sincil Bank Stadium.

They will next face Arsenal at Anfield in the fourth round, who moved on in the tournament after beating Leicester City on Wednesday.

Fourth round ties are scheduled to take place in two weeks time.

Premier League fixture rescheduling

This week scheduling changes were made to Liverpool’s Premier League clashes with Arsenal and Aston Villa next week.

Liverpool’s Anfield clash with Arsenal will now kick-off at 8PM on Monday September 28, whilst the away clash with Aston Villa has been changed to a 7:15PM kick-off on Sunday October 4. Both matches will be live on Sky Sports.
