Back Bruno Henrique to have a shot on target in Cuiaba vs Flamengo

Paul Higham has a 7/2 Bet Builder in Brazil on Wednesday, with a Flamengo forward and Cuiaba's ill discipline the keys to collecting...

  • Cuiaba second from bottom and looking desperate
  • Flamengo have plenty of injuries to deal with
  • Back 7/2 Bet Builder special on cards & Bruno shots

We're off to Brazil on Wednesday for a big game at opposite ends of the Serie A table as second-bottom Cuiaba desperately need points to somehow try and escape the relegation zone as they host Flamengo.

The visitors are fourth, nine points off top spot but with just five games left realistically just looking to cement a top-five spot.

Cuiaba did manage to take a point off leaders Botafogo last time out, but having not scored since early October they really need to start scoring goals if they're to engineer a great escape.

But will that start on Wednesday?

Leg 1: Cuiaba over 3.5 cards

Cuiaba are getting increasingly desperate and that usually means a few more fouls and a few more cards creeping in.

They've had four or more in 12 games this season, two of those coming in the last three as the pressure really starts the tell.

Against a better side, who they had three cards against earlier in the season, should make for perfect conditions so we'll start our Bet Builder double by backing 4+ cards for Cuiaba at 21/10.

Leg 2: Bruno Henrique 1+ shot on target

Flamengo have a load of injury problems, especially in forward areas, but Bruno Henrique is not one of them and as second on the team in terms of shots on target he's most likely to test the keeper here.

Henrique has 22 shots on target this season with at least one in three of his last five - all of which have seen him have multiple goal attempts so volume shouldn't be a problem.

Cuiaba have only conceded three goals in eight games so we don't fancy too many finding the back of the net, but Bruno is one man who can at least find the target.
