We won our 30th LaLiga title 16 years ago

Real Madrid won their 30th football league title on 17 June 2007. Our team secured the title on the last matchday and, following that year's storyline, they did so after a comeback. Fabio Capello's side trailed Mallorca in the first half at the Santiago Bernabéu, but turned the game around in the second (3-1) thanks to goals from Reyes (2) and Diarra. The goal-average with Barcelona settled a championship in which both teams finished with 76 points.

Real Madrid, who took the lead on matchday 34, won LaLiga thanks to a spectacular final stretch, in which they won 10 out of 12 games. In addition, that season is remembered for the comebacks and points achieved in the dying embers of several games. Van Nistelrooy was the top scorer in the league with 25 goals.
