Sheffield Wednesday have been dealt blow after blow this season from a defensive standpoint, with injuries keeping several individuals out.

Adding Flint helps from a competition level whilst he is also one of the best defenders that the division now has to offer and could be vitally important during the run-in.

Despite all of the backline issues that they have had to contend with this season, they still have the best defensive record in the division and are yet to concede in the league since the turn of the year.
