An open letter from our team to all Eintracht fans across the world.

Dear Eintracht family,

When you read this, we’ll be on our flight to Sevilla. We hope this place will become a very special one for Eintracht Frankfurt. We already experienced the beauty of the city and the hospitality of the Andalusian people a few weeks ago, when we played away at Real Betis. Many of you felt the warmth and openness of the ‘Sevillanos’.

We’re not going to Spain for a holiday, though. We’re all aware of the great opportunity for the club and for us. Against a big club and a strong team in Rangers FC, it’s about giving everything to bring the trophy back to Frankfurt for the first time in 42 years. We’re looking forward to this final, which represents everything that makes football special. Two highly motivated teams, two vocal sets of fans and a great host city – we’re looking forward to an enthusiastic and peaceful final. The atmosphere inside the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán will be awesome.

We know that our biggest trump card will be behind us. Your support has carried us all the way to the final. And tomorrow we know again: you’ll be there! Whether it’s at the stadium, in the city, the 50,000 fans at the public viewing at our stadium in Frankfurt, in the beer gardens, living rooms or pubs. We feel your energy! And we’ll get what we’ve all earned together.
