After defeat in the U19 DFB-Pokal final, coach Mike Tullberg and youth director Lars Ricken spoke to reporters from Sky.

Mike Tullberg: "We controlled the game in the first 20 minutes. They got the opening goal from a set-piece, as all ten of our players in the box were just standing and watching. After that, we played poorly for 25 minutes. I had a stern word with the team at half-time. After that, we carved the opposition apart and had a few massive chances. They were able to punish us, but we didn't manage to punish their mistakes. If we had put in our usual performance over 90 minutes, we would have won."

Lars Ricken: "We knew it was going to be an evenly-matched game. I can only say good things about our players. We didn't get off to a perfect start, but we were still better than Stuttgart. We conceded a goal from a set-piece and then lost our composure a bit, but we still managed to strike back before half-time. In the second half, the guys gave it their all and had five or six huge chances. The team are extremely disappointed, but that's part of the game. We've had a great season so far. The guys are learning from it, and they will be able to prove that next week in the final of the German Championship."
