The question we were asking Newcastle United fans on Saturday – How happy are you with this Newcastle United start to the season?
We are now into the first international break.
Newcastle United having played four matches so far this season, three in the Premier League and one in the League (Carabao) Cup.
So how do Newcastle United fans rare this start to the season?
We asked supporters to rate the start anywhere between zero and ten, with zero equalling the very worst, ten the very best.
We said it was totally up to Newcastle United fans how they wanted to measure/define how happy they were, or not, with how things now currently stand with Newcastle United after these four matches played and ahead of the fifth one next weekend at Wolves.
Very interesting results, these are the percentages (rounded up or down to the nearest whole number) of Newcastle United fans who voted for each level of happiness:
0 – 0%
1 – 1%
2 – 0%
3 – 1%
4 – 1%
5 – 4%
6 – 11%
7 – 27%
8 – 38%
9 – 12%
10 – 5%
As you can see, the most popular choice was a happiness rating of 8 out of 10 with 38%, whilst those choosing 8 or higher was a majority of 55%. That becoming an overwhelming 82% when looking at those voting 7 or higher.
The average of all those Newcastle United fans voting worked out at a happiness rating at this start to the season of 7.51 out of 10.
