The question we wre asking Newcastle United fans today, was ‘Do you want Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid to win the 2024 Champions League final?’

The two clubs meeting at Wembley tonight (Saturday 1 June 2024) in an 8pm kick-off.

So did you want Real Madrid to win the Champions League for a fifteenth time.

Or did you prefer Borussia Dortmund to make it two Champions League trophies?

The Bundesliga side won their only Champions League (so far…) back in 1997, defeating Juventus 3-1.

Since that sole success for Dortmund 27 years ago, Real Madrid have won it eight times, including beating Liverpool two years ago in Paris.

Newcastle United fans of course saw their team play Borussia Dortmund for the very first time this season in a competitive match.

Dortmund winning both at St James’ Park and in Germany.
