Just three weeks into the new season, we’re back again with some internationals – World Cup qualifiers to be precise.

Here’s what went down …

OneFootball Videos

Les Bleus held at home by Bosnia

Scorers: Griezmann 40′; Džeko 36′

France went closest early on when Kylian Mbappé rattled the post, but it was Edin Džeko who put Bosnia-Herzegovina ahead with a clinical left-footed finish.

Their lead, however, lasted just four minutes when Antoine Griezmann bundled home despite the best efforts of goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehić.

Les Bleus were reduced to ten men in the second half after Jules Koundé was dismissed for his late challenge on Arsenal defender Sead Kolašinac.

Ronaldo nets late leveller to make history

Scorers: Ronaldo 89′, 90+6′; Egan 45′

Cristiano Ronaldo had the chance to make history after just ten minutes but his penalty kick was brilliant saved by teenage goalkeeper Gavin Buzunu.

But Portugal struggled to create despite their possession, and just before half-time, it was Ireland who took the lead when John Egan rose highest to head home.

Bernardo Silva had a glorious chance to equalise but somehow blazed over from six yards, before Ronaldo inevitably headed home with minutes to spare.

So naturally, that meant there was time to win the ball, and the 36-year-old planted another brilliant header into the corner – securing all three points.

Denmark make light work of Scotland

Scorers: Wass 14′, Mæhle 15′

Denmark started brightest and took the lead through Daniel Wass, who got the wrong side of Kieran Tierney before heading in from close range.

Their second arrived just one minute later when Joakim Mæhle latched onto a beautiful pass from Mikkel Damsgaard before finishing past Craig Gordon.

Haaland scores again with honours even

Scorers: Haaland 19′; Klaassen 37′

Norway broke the deadlock through, you guessed it, Erling Haaland after he took advantage of some poor Netherlands defending to bundle home.

But Davy Klaassen equalised before half-time after ghosting into the penalty box unopposed before finishing from close range.
