Another day, another batch of World Cup qualifiers coming your way.

Here’s what went down …

OneFootball Videos

Late drama as Poland stun England

Scorers: Szymanski 90+2′; Kane 72′

With chances few and far between, Harry Kane looked to have won the game with a swerving strike from 30 yards that fooled Wojciech Szczesny.

But there was time for late drama when Damian Szymanski rose highest to head home Robert Lewandowski’s cross – snatching a late point in the process.

Germany hitting top form under Flick

Scorers: Gnabry 6′, Rüdiger 24′, Sané 56′, Werner 84′

Germany opened the scoring after just six minutes when Leroy Sané crossed perfectly for Serge Gnabry to convert from close range.

Antonio Rüdiger then doubled their lead with a towering header, before Sané made it three after powering into the roof of the net.

Timo Werner made it four late on.

Spain edge past Kosovo in tense affair

Scorers: Fornals 32′, Ferran 88′

After Kosovo went through on goal twice in the opening few minutes, Pablo Fornals put Spain ahead after a lovely flowing move.

And despite some shaky moments for La Roja, Ferran Torres broke free late on before firing a clinical strike into the corner.

European Champions hit five past lacklustre Lithuania

Scorers: Kean 11′, 29′, Utkus (og) 14′, Raspadori 24′, Di Lorenzo 54′

Moise Kean opened the scoring after pouncing on a defensive mistake, before Edgaras Utkus deflected into his own net for the second.

Giacomo Raspadori made it three with a close-range poacher’s finish and Kean doubled his tally to make it four – all before half time.

Unlikely goalscorer Giovanni Di Lorenzo added the Azzurri’s fifth with a cultured lob.

Belgium squeeze past Belarus

Scorers: Praet 33′

Belgium thought they’d opened the scoring when Michy Batshuayi bundled home from close range, although his effort was ruled out for offside.

Just two minutes later, however, they were ahead when Dennis Praet fired a low drive into the far corner.

And now club football returns!
