Aston Villa welcomed Ajax at Villa Park in the UEFA Europa Conference League earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a victory at home. The Villans made a strong start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 25th minute when Ollie Watkins found the back of the net. Unai Emery’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Leon Bailey doubled Aston Villa’s advantage at the hour mark before Jhon Duran killed the game off in the 75th minute. Moussa Diaby added another goal just six minutes later as the Villans cruised to a dominant 4-0 win in front of their home fans.
