Watford set to sign Toulouse’s Kévin Keben | OneFootball

Toulouse FC have already completed some big sales this summer, seeing both Thijs Dallinga and Christian Mawissa depart for big money. Logan Costa, in talks with Bologna, could also leave Le TéFéCé, whilst another player – Kévin Keben (20) – looks set to depart imminently.  The centre-back is on the verge of completing a €3m move to EFL Championship side Watford, according to a report from L’Équipe.

Keben, who over the course of the past two seasons, has made just 23 appearances in all competitions, has just one year remaining on his current deal with Toulouse. As a result, Toulouse perceive this as the right time to cash in on the player that has failed to truly break into the first-team.

Keben is expected to sign a four-year deal with Watford. He will undergo his medical on Thursday before travelling to London the next day. Le TéFéCé are considering Romanian centre-back Ümit Akdag (20), who currently plays for Alanyaspor, as a replacement, according to L’Équipe.
