Watford boss Rob Edwards has been impressed by Keinan Davis since joining on-loan from Aston Villa.

Davis joined the Hornets on a season-long loan following his contribution at Nottingham Forest last term, where he helped Steve Cooper's side win promotion to the Premier League.

He opened his Hornets account in their 2-2 draw with Sunderland at Vicarage Road and was worthy of praise from Edwards.

"I was also really happy with Keinan Davis," he told the club's official website.

"He was really positive, and you can see in his all-round game that when the ball comes to him it sticks. He can really bring people into the game, and I'm really pleased he got his goal because that is what all strikers want.

"We need that, because we need players who are in-form and scoring goals. He needs to keep working hard, because there is a lot more to come from him."
