Tom Cleverley has been relieved of his duties as Watford head coach, only three days after the season came to an end.
The former midfielder was appointed permanently last year after a short interim spell, having guided the team away from a potential relegation scrap.

Watford appeared to be in the mix for a play-off spot heading into the second half of the season, but a poor run of form - with only five wins in 2025 - dashed those hopes.
The Hornets ended their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, finishing 14th in the Championship.
