Footage of the reaction of former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane to Los Blancos’ decisive goal against Bayern Munich on Wednesday has come to the fore online.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real, of course, are fresh off booking their spot in yet another European final.

After welcoming the aforementioned Bayern to Spain’s capital for the 2nd leg of the Champions League semi-final showdown between the clubs, the hosts ultimately emerged on the right side of a 2-1 scoreline.

As much came courtesy of another trademark late turnaround.

After Alphonso Davies had guided Bayern into the lead with a moment of individual brilliance midway through the 2nd-half, Joselu emerged from the bench, to prove himself the unlikely hero.

After first capitalising on a rare Manuel Neuer mistake to slot home from close range, the veteran frontman was back at it again just minutes later, in converting Antonio Rüdiger’s cross from the left.

And one man who was watching on from the stands as Real showcased their never-say-die spirit on the continent once more, was Zinedine Zidane.

Tactician Zidane, who of course boasts plenty of experience of his own when it comes to sealing Champions League glory with Los Merengues, can be seen below bringing back something of an iconic celebration, after Joselu’s 2nd of the evening on Wednesday:
